Colleen and Casey's love story

Colleen and Casey's love story is one that bloomed amidst the difficulties of COVID. It all began when Casey, after years of waiting, found his "Southern Bell" on the dating app Hinge. The pandemic may have limited their ability to meet in person, but it also pushed Colleen to explore online dating, leading her straight into Casey's arms.

Their connection grew through lengthy FaceTime conversations and late-night talks until they finally had their first date at TopGolf on September 3rd, 2020. It was on that day, watching Colleen swing her club with grace, that Casey knew she was the one for him. Within a few weeks, he playfully but sincerely expressed his desire to marry her.

After enduring a year of being physically apart, Casey made the move to live with Colleen. They wasted no time in turning their house into a beautiful home together. And it was on a Friday, October 15th, 2021, at Hughes Landing in The Woodlands, TX, that Casey surprised Colleen with a heartfelt proposal. Without hesitation, she said the easiest "YES" of her life.

As they began planning their wedding day, Colleen and Casey dreamed of creating a minimalist and neutral-themed celebration filled with nothing but pure happiness. They wanted their special day to be an intimate and romantic affair, free of unnecessary extravagance.

When the big day arrived, nerves and excitement filled the air. Colleen and Casey embraced every emotion, from the jitters to the moments of pure joy. They were fully present, cherishing each and every moment as they celebrated their love.

The Wedding Day

Wedding days are filled with so many emotions, and it's incredible to witness as a photographer. Colleen and Casey's wedding was no exception – it was a day filled with nerves, joy, and everything in between. As I captured their special moments, I couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and romance in the air.

The venue itself, The Luminaire, was absolutely stunning. The lighting was radiant and created a beautiful atmosphere, and the tree-lined driveway added a touch of natural beauty. Inside, the architecture and reception hall were grand and added to the overall elegance of the event.

I have to give credit to the amazing wedding team who worked tirelessly to make everything perfect. Let's Make a Plan Events, led by the wonderful Cyerah, planned and executed every detail flawlessly. The flower arrangements by Canestrini Di Fiori were jaw-dropping, and Signature Eventx provided an unforgettable dance-party experience.

I can't express enough how incredible this wedding was. Every moment was full of love and warmth, and I am truly grateful to have been a part of it.
