As I sit here and reflect on Kayla and Austin's wedding day at the Carriage House in Conroe, I am filled with a sense of warmth and joy that is hard to put into words. Being able to capture their special wedding day was truly an honor, and it is moments like these that remind me why I fell in love with wedding photography in the first place.

From the moment I met Kayla and Austin, I could tell that they were a couple who deeply understood the power of love and the importance of cherishing every moment. They spoke of their journey together, from meeting in church back in 8th grade to finally starting their relationship in 2016. Listening to their story, I couldn't help but feel inspired by the way they had grown together and supported one another over the years.

As the wedding day approached, Kayla and Austin made it clear that their goal was to have fun and keep the day simple and sweet. They chose the Carriage House in Conroe, Tx as their venue because they fell in love with the balance between rustic, simple, and elegant, as well as the big windows that flooded the space with natural light. And oh, how that light danced on their faces, illuminating the love and happiness that radiated from within.

When I think back to Kayla on her wedding day, she simply took my breath away. The Jenny Yoo wedding gown from BHLDN hugged her figure in all the right places, and the small details on the back and train added a touch of elegance that perfectly complimented her natural beauty. She chose to borrow her sister's veil, adding a sentimental touch to her ensemble that I know meant the world to her. With minimalistic makeup and hair styled by her bridesmaids, Kayla looked effortlessly stunning.

During our consultation together, Kayla mentioned being nervous about taking formal pictures for the first time. But, my goal wasn't just to capture beautiful poses and smiles - I wanted to capture the essence of who they are as a couple. I wanted their love and authenticity to shine through every image. In working with them, I realized that the key to creating this intimacy and fun was to make them feel comfortable and at ease. I directed them when needed, but I also let candid and honest moments unfold naturally.

As I read Kayla's review of my engagement and wedding photography, I couldn't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude. To me, photography is not just about taking pictures; it's about capturing the emotion and essence of a moment. It's about freezing a single point in time that tells a story and evokes feelings. It's about preserving memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Kayla and Austin's wedding day was filled with warmth, intimacy, fun, authenticity, and simplicity. And as their wedding photographer, it was my privilege to capture those moments and embody those concepts through my lens. I am grateful to have been a part of their journey and to have witnessed their love come alive on their special day.

As I continue to grow in my field as a wedding photographer, I am constantly reminded of the incredible power and beauty that lies within capturing these moments. It is not just a job, but a passion that allows me to connect with people and tell their stories through my art. And for that, I will forever be grateful.
