As the wedding day approached, Kayla and Austin made it clear that their goal was to have fun and keep the day simple and sweet. They chose the Carriage House in Conroe, Tx as their venue because they fell in love with the balance between rustic, simple, and elegant, as well as the big windows that flooded the space with natural light. And oh, how that light danced on their faces, illuminating the love and happiness that radiated from within.
When I think back to Kayla on her wedding day, she simply took my breath away. The Jenny Yoo gown from BHLDN hugged her figure in all the right places, and the small details on the back and train added a touch of elegance that perfectly complemented her natural beauty. She chose to borrow her sister's veil, adding a sentimental touch to her ensemble that I know meant the world to her. With minimalistic makeup and hair styled by her bridesmaids, Kayla looked effortlessly stunning.
During our consultation together, Kayla mentioned being nervous about taking formal pictures for the first time. But, my goal wasn't just to capture beautiful poses and smiles - I wanted to capture the essence of who they are as a couple. I wanted their love and authenticity to shine through every image. In working with them, I realized that the key to creating this intimacy and fun was to make them feel comfortable and at ease. I directed them when needed, but I also let candid and honest moments unfold naturally.
