Q: What should we expect during a newborn or family session?
Sessions are relaxed, unhurried, and designed around your family’s comfort. For newborns, I guide you through posing safely and naturally while capturing those tiny, fleeting details. For family sessions, we play, cuddle, and interact — I capture those authentic moments while keeping things fun and easy. By the end, it’ll feel like we’ve spent time with a friend, not just a photographer.
Q: Where do sessions take place?
Most newborn sessions are in your home to create a calm, comfortable environment. Family sessions can be in your home, outdoors, or a location that’s meaningful to you. I’ll guide you to pick the best place for light, safety, and a relaxed experience.
Q: How do you prepare us for our session?
I provide a detailed session guide before your session, covering everything from wardrobe tips to how to prepare your home or outdoor space. I’ll answer any questions you have and make sure you feel confident and at ease — from our first chat to the final image delivery.
Q: How long does a session usually last?
Newborn sessions typically take 1-2 hours, depending on your baby’s needs. Family sessions are usually 30-60 minutes, depending on the number of participants and age of your children. I work at your family’s pace, allowing time for feeding, breaks, or extra cuddles as needed.
Q: When should we book our session?
For newborns, the best time to book is during your third trimester so we can reserve a spot for the first two weeks after your baby is born. Family sessions can be booked anytime, but scheduling a few months in advance ensures the dates and times you prefer. I recommend booking early to secure your season.
Q: Can we include siblings, grandparents, or pets?
Absolutely! Your whole family is welcome — from tiny siblings to grandparents, and even furry family members. We’ll plan the session to make sure everyone feels comfortable, engaged, and naturally included.
Q: Do we need to dress the children a certain way?
Not at all! I provide wardrobe guidance in my session guide to help you feel coordinated without being “matchy-matchy.” The goal is comfort, personality, and timeless photos — not forcing anyone into stiff or uncomfortable clothing.
Q: How long until we receive our images?
After your session, I carefully edit each image to ensure it’s beautiful and true to your family. You can expect a gallery of images within 2–4 weeks. From there, you’ll have a private online gallery to download, share, and order prints if you wish.
Q: Do you offer packages or individual sessions?
Both! You can book a single session or a package to capture multiple seasons — like maternity, newborn, and family milestones. Packages are designed to make it easier to document the full journey and preserve the memories that matter most.
