What is a micro wedding?
A micro wedding is a smaller, more intimate wedding celebration that typically includes a limited guest list. While the guest count may be smaller, the day can still include all the meaningful elements of a traditional wedding, from getting ready and a first look to a ceremony, portraits, dinner and dancing. Micro weddings are perfect for couples who want a more intentional, relaxed celebration where they can spend quality time with the people they love most. I especially love photographing micro weddings because the smaller setting allows me to focus on the genuine connections and little moments that make your wedding uniquely yours.
Do you photograph elopements in Houston?
Absolutely! I photograph elopements throughout Houston, The Woodlands and the surrounding Greater Houston area. Whether you're planning a quiet ceremony with just the two of you, exchanging vows with your closest family and friends, or turning your elopement into an intimate celebration, I'm there to document the moments as they naturally unfold. I love that elopements allow couples to create a wedding experience that feels completely personal and true to them—and I'll help make sure you have beautiful photographs that preserve not just how the day looked, but how it felt.
How many hours of photography do we need for a micro wedding?
That really depends on how you're planning your day. For a simple ceremony followed by portraits and a small celebration, 3–4 hours may be plenty. If you'd like photography coverage that includes getting ready, details, a first look, the ceremony, family and couple portraits, cocktail hour and part of your reception, 5–6 hours is often a better fit.
My goal isn't to have you pay for hours you don't need. We'll look at your timeline, priorities and guest experience together and determine how much coverage makes sense for your particular celebration. Even with a smaller wedding, there can be a surprising number of meaningful moments worth documenting.
Do you travel outside The Woodlands?
Yes! The Woodlands is home base, but I regularly photograph clients throughout Greater Houston and surrounding communities. That includes Houston, Conroe, Spring, Tomball, Magnolia, Montgomery, Kingwood and other nearby areas.
For weddings and elopements, I'm also happy to travel beyond The Woodlands and Greater Houston when the location is a good fit. If you're planning something a little farther away, just reach out and tell me where you're getting married. I'll be happy to discuss travel and any applicable travel fees with you.
