Having the honor of photographing Julia and Gabriel’s stunning Peach Orchard wedding was an absolute dream come true from start to finish! Located in The Woodlands, Texas, this venue holds a special place in my heart, and seeing how Julia and Gabe brought their vision to life there was nothing short of magical.
For these two, choosing their venue was a breeze. They fell head over heels for everything the Peach Orchard has to offer—from the charming exposed brick and towering high ceilings to the sun-drenched windows, lush gardens, grand oak trees, and the convenience of the peaceful on-site chapel. With around 125 of their closest friends and family gathered, the energy was pure joy and warmth.
From late-night cravings to "I Do"
Julia and Gabe’s love story is the kind that makes you smile from ear to ear. They originally met on Hinge, and in a true twist of fate, Gabe was the first and only guy Julia ever met from the app!
Their very first date was as sweet and spontaneous as they are. While talking on the phone late one night, they realized they were both craving Denny's because it brought back so many happy childhood memories. They decided right then and there to meet up. What was supposed to be a simple bite to eat turned into talking the entire night away—ending with a unforgettable first kiss!
A Whimsical Garden Party Dream
When Julia described her vision for the wedding day, she wanted a theme that felt "whimsical garden party—fun, light, elegant, and beautiful." And goodness, did they deliver!
The Details & Florals
The color palette was a gorgeous breath of fresh air. Piney Rose Floral created lush arrangements filled with gentle sage greens, lavender, lilac, and soft butter yellow. The bridesmaids wore delicate sage green dresses that matched the reception's sage linens, creating a cohesive, romantic feel throughout the entire space.
The Dress
Julia looked breathtaking in a Martina Liana gown from Brickhouse Bridal. She fell in love with every delicate detail: the intricate floral lace, the elegant shape and neckline, the classic buttons lining the back, and a train made for floating down the aisle.
Celebrating Culture & Heartfelt Moments
After a romantic ceremony in the chapel surrounded by soft natural light, the celebration moved to the reception, filled with incredible food by Cafe Natalie, endless dancing curated by DJ Connections, and a show-stopping cake by Cakes by Gina.
One of my favorite parts of the entire evening was when Julia and Gabe took time to honor the groom’s heritage. During the reception, they changed into traditional Vietnamese áo dài garments. Seeing them honor family traditions while celebrating their new beginning together was a moment that had everyone—including me—tearing up.
