As a Houston elopement photographer, I've had the honor of documenting so many incredible love stories. Melissa and Isaac's elopement at the iconic 1910 Harris County Courthouse was truly one for the books, and it’s a perfect example of how intimate and special a wedding day can be.
I first connected with Melissa and Isaac a few years ago when they modeled for an event I was shooting. So when they reached out to me to capture their 1910 courthouse wedding, I was absolutely thrilled. It’s always an honor when a couple trusts me with such a significant milestone.
Melissa looked stunning in her elegant, backless satin dress. The cross-over halter neck and self-tie straps beautifully highlighted her petite frame. Isaac was equally dapper in a light blue Tommy Hilfiger suit, a perfect complement to her classic style. The bold pink bouquet was a striking detail, and the October 1st date held a special meaning for them and for me, as a breast cancer survivor, given its connection to National Cancer Awareness Month.
The ceremony, officiated by Judge Eric Andell, was both thorough and filled with warmth and humor. After they officially tied the knot, we stepped outside to capture some beautiful elopement portraits around the surrounding blocks. Even with the lively city atmosphere and bustling traffic from an Astros game, we were met with so many cheers and congratulations from people passing by. It was a joyful reminder of how much love is all around us.
This was such a warm and beautiful early fall day, and I am so grateful to have been a part of Melissa and Isaac’s special celebration. Their story is a powerful reminder that an unforgettable wedding is about celebrating your love in a way that is meaningful to you.
If you're planning your own 1910 courthouse wedding and are looking for a Houston wedding photographer to capture the magic of your day, I would love to connect with you. Let’s tell your unique love story together.
