I got the extreme privilege of working with this radiant mother last year, who has a distinct sense of fashion and creativity. She wanted her maternity photos to reflect her unique style, so we collaborated closely to bring her vision to life. This mama-to-be expressed how important it was for her to embrace her pregnant body, celebrating the change and acknowledging it's beautiful journey. As you will see, she radiated confidence, and it was an absolutely honor to capture her in all her glow.

We began the session wearing a flowing rose-colored satin gown from Lulu's and concluded the session in Calvin Klein underwear. With a casual outfit comes more natural and casual posing cues. I want the posing and overall vibe of the session to match my clients personalities and she absolutely rocked her maternity session! It is refreshing when a client shows up so confident and willing to show off the baby bump. Pregnancy brings so many changes, physically and mentally, so confidence can sometimes be a little bit harder to embrace at this time in a woman’s life. I applaud all women who decide to document their pregnancy journey, regardless of where their confidence journey is at. These are moments and memories that you will not want to forget as time moves along.

The client's husband was an integral part of the session, and we wanted to ensure that he felt just as cherished and involved. Incorporating the devoted dad-to-be adds an extra layer of love and excitement. It's heartwarming to see their bond developing even deeper in anticipation of their little girl.
