Joe and Kristyn's elegant wedding in downtown Houston was nothing short of a fairy tale. From a classic ceremony to a romantic and fun reception, this wedding was full of endless photographic details.

Surrounded by their closest group of family and friends, Joe and Kristyn truly basked in the once-in-a-lifetime moments of their day. I think they thanked me about a dozen different times and I loved how they not only noticed but acknowledged the joy and gratitude they were feeling throughout the day. It was infectious joy … just as it should be : )

Both being Catholic, Joe and Kristyn knew that they wanted a traditional Catholic mass. With its 100 year history, striking architecture, soaring ceilings, and stained-glass windows, the Holy Rosary Parish of Houston set the stage for their vows, reflecting the way they live and love.

Damian's Cucina dark woodworking and dim candle-lighting was the perfect canvas for a super ethereal aesthetic. The reception featured a checker patterned dance floor surrounded by round tables, draped in linens and minimal statement florals. The romance was turned up with pillar candles in glass cylinders of different heights as well as their opening song, I am Yours by Andy Grammar.

With the expert help of their planner Next Chapter Weddings and a talented vendor team, their wedding was the coming together of the couple's loved ones, and their wedding vision. Needless to say, we are SO happy for you, Ritz'! You have waited so long for this day and it was MAGICAL. Your siblings both mentioned in their speeches what a gift it is to be loved by you and I hope you were able to feel that same love from everyone who supports the life you are building together.
