Fast forward to their wedding day, a warm July day that followed the tumultuous path of Hurricane Beryl. Despite the recent storm, the day unfolded with a magical aura of its own. Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, a place of spiritual significance for Derek, served as the backdrop for their union.
Lauren had envisioned a wedding that was nothing short of whimsical – a blend of Pixie Hollow and Cinderella's fairytale dreams. Her vision was brought to life with a color palette of sage and champagne, and floral arrangements featuring white roses, eucalyptus, sage, and ivy. Clad in a stunning Illumina Bridal Couture gown, Lauren was the epitome of a modern-day Cinderella.
What made this wedding truly special was its daytime setting. While alcohol was absent, the atmosphere was electric with joy and laughter. The dance floor was filled with guests who reveled in the couple's happiness. And in a truly unique touch, the early 5pm end time allowed for a grand send-off. As Lauren and Derek embarked on their new adventure, they were showered with bubbles and well wishes from their loved ones before jetting off to Jamaica for their honeymoon.
