I had the pleasure of capturing a casual and playful engagement session with Alex and Hunter at Buffalo Bayou in Houston, Texas. What I loved most about this session was how the couple chose to wear everyday clothes, making it feel authentic and true to their personalities. In particular, Alex wore shorts that showcased her beautiful legs, adding a touch of fun to the photos.
Alex has a big, beautiful smile that lights up her face, and she has a way of laughing that is incredibly attractive. Throughout the session, they were naturally affectionate with each other and couldn't help but laugh together.
As we explored Buffalo Bayou, it was evident that this couple shares a deep connection. They met during intramural soccer in college, playing on opposite teams. It's funny how destiny works, as Hunter proposed to Alex at Memorial Park by the pond. Alex jokes that their love story began when she accidentally ran into Hunter while he was playing goalie. From that moment on, she fell for him.
When they're not busy with work or wedding planning, Alex and Hunter enjoy simple pleasures like getting coffee, reading, and taking walks at the park with their loyal Shephard dog named Rey. Their love for each other and their fur baby is truly heartwarming.
For their engagement session, Alex and Hunter expressed a desire for lively, fun, adventurous, and loving photos. We had a blast capturing their genuine laughter and the joy that radiated between them. It was important to me to create an atmosphere that felt warm and romantic, allowing their love to shine through each image.
