FAQ
How do you photograph weddings?
I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I'll send you a guide to help you organize your day, the best moments for the couple photos, the different lights... and it's really exciting for me to receive photos of your dress, shoes, invites...! On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. Bring all the non-traditional and laid-back weddings - they are my jam.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm located in The Woodlands, Texas and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to come because I don't want it to be a brake for you.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 4 weeks (oftentimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
How many pictures will we receive?
You can expect to receive anywhere between 50-75 fully edited images per hour of photography coverage. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.
How do we book you for our wedding?
Once you have a secured date and venue, we can move forward with booking. To reserve your day with me, I require a signed contract and retainer. Click the "Contact me" button at the top of this page to get started!
Do I need a second shooter?
If your budget allows, I always recommend a second shooter, especially for tight timelines. Two shooters are always better than one for multiple reasons. Aside from more coverage of the day you will also have different perspectives, more images, and we are able to split up and capture different parts of the day at the same time.
With my 8- and 10-hour collections, you get a complimentary second shooter.
Do you offer albums or printed images?
Indeed! I love printed goods, so I offer heirloom albums, prints, canvases and holiday cards through a professional lab. This lab ensures the truest image colors and the highest quality materials.
While I recommend ordering prints through my gallery, it isn't required. However, the difference in quality is HUGE when it comes to ordering through a professional lab.
We've never planned a wedding. Can you help us?
YES. I want to make sure my couples have the best experience that they can with me, so I'm always here as an asset to give advice, help develop your custom photo timeline, and give vendor recommendations where needed. I work with some pretty amazing peeps in the industry and am happy to give you their info as a service to you after you book with me!
What if it rains?
The available light on the day of your wedding or session will affect the vibe of your gallery as to whether it is brighter or more "moody." Please go check out my work to see what to expect - you'll notice that I shoot in all types of lighting conditions!
I'm not comfortable in front of the camera. Can you help?
Absolutely! From ideas on locations, to what to wear, it's my privilege to help prepare you! Most of my couples tell me they are awkward photo takers, or otherwise nervous about their session, but don't sweat it - I will guide you throughout our time together.
So are you a 'light and airy' or 'dark and moody' photographer?
All of the above! It depends on the environment. I want to tell the exact story of the way the light felt in the moment. When golden light is falling in dusty rays onto dark wood, you'll get rich, warm and beautiful contrasty shots. When the sun is high with lush greens, you'll have a much more airy capture. I rarely use popular presets in post-production so I'll never push a scene into a trendy color palette. I strongly believe that each wedding is unique for that kind of automation. Each scene from your special day will be hand edited with care.
Will you Photoshop my images to hide any unwanted spots?
Minor edits will be made to all of your images, but I believe our imperfections are what make us beautiful and unique. If there are specific edits you want, these will be charged according to the number and complexity of the edit.
We've decided that we love your work and would like for you to capture our wedding day. What do we do first?
I'm delighted! To get started, fill out the contact form in the navigation menu above and let me know some of the details. Don't be afraid to overshare!
Alternatively, let your planner know that they too can reach out to me directly for availability.
I require a signed contract and $500 deposit to book your date.
